Spring arrives on the Hudson River and the view from this artists studio bursts into green and gold.

 

 

This original painting has layers of light.  Hints of iridescence accentuate the morning glow around the George Washington Bridge as the artist celebrates the coming of Spring and the Morning light.  One lonely barge works it’s way up river burdened by a heavy load it sits low in the water.  The city is still asleep with the exception of one curious cat.

A dear friend lives on his boat moored across the shore in New Jersey.  One stop on the PATH brings you to a great view of lower Manhattan.  As was the case on this moody night when the moon was full and the sky full of golden clouds.  Our City looked like diamonds on black velvet.  This piece is a fluid movement of Deep Blue, Black and Gold.  The rosy gold delights the eye as light moves thru this hauntingly lovely piece.
