Well here we are, entering the holiday season of the great and dreadful year of 2020.

I, like many of us in this unusual time, have been staying indoors social distancing and reading far too much news. There have been bright amazing things that have happened this year and there have been morbid, disgraceful, and humiliating things that of happened this year.

There are worse things than being stuck in your art studio. I’ve made some beautiful pieces this year and some pieces of art this year were a learning curve.

All in all, I have found some growth. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve recovered a lost patience. I am entering the holiday season full of gratitude and a quiet growing ember of hope.
