I was born St. Louis, Missouri and studied at Ball State University and The Art Students League of New York. My work has been exhibited in Austin Texas and New York City and is included in private collections around the U.S. such as Austin, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. The Four Seasons Hotel in Austin used my Austin landscapes and Texas themed pop art in various print media around the hotel. In 2002 I opened Epiphany Gallery in Soho New York and exhibited the work of my contemporaries and my own work in an effort to rehabilitate a post 9/11 lower Manhattan. Our shows were a great success and the culture of art in Soho helped reestablish a sense of recovery in New York. Although the gallery only lived for one year it has been a joy to watch the work of my colleagues such as Anthony Freda and Billy the Artist continue to gain exposure.
Although my greatest influences are Edward Hopper, Thomas Hart Benton and Alice Neel, Emily Carr and Georgia O’Keeffe, I truly have developed my own unique style. I look forward to sharing it with you!
